Pickleball Treeing

In pickleball, "treeing" is a slang term used to describe a player who is playing out of their mind — they’re suddenly on fire, hitting every shot perfectly, making crazy gets, and basically dominating play. It's like they're in the zone, and everything's going their way.

The term comes from the idea that they’re “playing like a tree” — tall, solid, unshakeable — or that they’re "growing" in the game, but it’s really just a fun way to say someone is hot or unstoppable in the moment.

You might hear someone say: "Wow, she is treeing right now-we can't do anything!""

It’s kind of like a hot streak, and it can come and go just as fast.
